The Vortex 275 Metall Danny Special Edition was customized for Danny, to meet the needs of forest flying. With the classical robustness of the Vortex 250 Pro, longer arms to swing 6″ props, custom 2205 V-Spec motors, and a CCD Camera.
In a world where quads are getting smaller, and their ability to carry a GoPro disappears, the Vortex 275 likes to be a little different.

Tuned by a Pro
As with all Vortex quads, pro-tunes are included to eliminate the complex tuning process. Danny has tweaked the PIDs to perfection, and we have included them in the default firmware for the quad.
Out with Steel, in with Titanium!
The stock Vortex 250 Pro shipped with a steel screw-set. Extremely strong, un-necessary weight when whipping around a dense forest.
The Metall Danny edition replaces this with a Titanium screw set, significantly lighter, and much stronger than aluminium equivalents.
V-Spec 2205-2100kV Power
Custom V-Spec 2205-2100kV motors swing 6″ props with anger! These motors were custom-designed for this quad.
Beautifully milled and anodized, using single-strand wiring.
Robust enough to survive the occasional ‘kiss’ from a passing pine-tree.
Don’t like the Green?, Pimp It!
The Metall Danny edition is 100% compatible with the numerous ‘pimp kits’ available for the Vortex 250 Pro. Colors include (among others):

Physical meets Virtual
The Metall Danny Vortex 275 is available in the popular Liftoff simulator.
The larger props, motors, etc. are all simulated using the advanced physical models driving the simulator.
